Overview

The program is intended for students who intend on qualifying as chartered accountants in the future. The qualification is a pre-requisite for entry into the Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting qualification. The knowledge and skills graduates are expected to develop on the program are those that are expected of a practising professional Accountant. These include the preparation of company financial statements, advising clients on the tax implications of their businesses, and preparing monthly management accounts for decision-making purposes. In doing so they are expected to demonstrate proficiency in relevant technologies.

Entry Requirements

National senior certificate degree with Mathematics level 5, English and Life Orientation level 4. Minimum, 32 NSC points.
