Biography

Dr Peter Moores-Pitt is a Lecturer of Finance in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance. He holds an Honours Degree in Economics from Rhodes University, as well as a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Finance from UKZN. Peter gained experience as an economic analyst prior to transitioning to academia at UKZN. His research interests include macroeconomics, econometric time series analysis, financial market and investment analysis and environmental economics. Peter also actively supervises students from honours through to PhD level.
