Finance can be taken as a major on either the Bachelor of Commerce (Westville and Pietermaritzburg) or Bachelor of Business Science (Westville only) programmes. A coursework honours in Finance and a Masters by research in Finance are options at a postgraduate level. Many of our Finance students go on to write the CFA exams.
An undergraduate major in Finance involves two years of study, starting in the second-year with Finance 201 and Finance 202, and culminating at the third-year level with four modules, namely:
