Prof Kerry McCullough

Biography

Kerry McCullough is an Associate Professor and the Academic Leader of Finance in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has more than 10-years’ experience teaching and researching in the field of finance. Kerry holds a PhD in Finance, a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education, a Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) Certificate, and a Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice. She was elected to the Southern African Finance Association’s (SAFA) committee in 2019, and to Chairperson in 2021. One of her education-based research interests focused on developing and supporting first-time researchers. She has published in both local and international academic journals, with papers in the Investment Analysts Journal, the Journal for Studies in Economics and Econometrics and Innovations in Education and Teaching International, amongst others.
