Malibongwe Cyprian Nyathi is a PhD student and a Lecturer (Economics) at the University of KwaZulu Natal. He is also an executive member of the Macroeconomic Research Unit (MRU) under the school of Accounting Economics and Finance. He is currently researching on the issues of the interactions of Macroprudential and Monetary Policies and the Business and Financial Cycles interactions, which informs the right policy mix towards policy coordination. Apart from this, he also have interests Econometric Modelling and have skills in using econometric tools such as, Stata, Eviews, Mathlab and R.
